Run semantic checks in the Repository
You can check whether one or multiple BPMN diagrams, objects, or the content of a database group comply with the modeling conventions.
Click
Application launcher > 
Models and objects. ARIS Repository > Models and objects is displayed.Click
Semantic checks. The Semantic checks bar opens.To change the output format, click
Select output format.Select the database group that contains the BPMN diagrams you want to check.
Enable the check boxes of one or several BPMN diagrams. The name of the selected item is displayed under Semantic checks. If you have selected more than one item, the number of selected items is displayed.
The semantic check Validation of a BPMN diagram (BPMN 2.0) is preselected.
Click Start. The Semantic check is executed and the result is displayed. You can download (
) the result.
If errors, warnings, or notes were found, the number of problems found is displayed in the Semantic checks bar.
To correct the problems, click the relevant item under Result to open it for editing, including the findings of the semantic check. Follow the instructions described in Run a semantic check for open BPMN diagrams.
To remove the results from the last semantic check, click 
Clear semantic check result.
