Getting started

ARIS Basic is the starter edition for business process management. It offers all the essential features for process design, sharing, and optimization. Have a look at the ARIS Basic Cheat sheet to familiarize yourself with the available process model types or follow the Modeling Quick Start Guide which will guide you step by step in creating a simple model.

  • Use the Application launcher Application launcher to switch between views, access ARIS Community, or report an issue.

  • Home Home

    You have direct access to existing content, the ability to create new content, access information, or change your user preferences.

  • Published content Published content

    You have access to the fact sheets of published models. You can search for model elements, print the graphic of models, and start reports for models.

  • Models and objectsModels and objects

    You can create, edit, evaluate, and manage database content. If you create a model or open a model for editing, a new browser tab with the modeling component is opened.

Please note: Depending on your license or role, some of the elements of the user interface or some of the features described in this help may not be available to you.
