Manage databases

As a user with Project room management privilege, you can manage the database.

Specify publication mode

You can specify whether the workspace content is to be published automatically and displayed to users in Published content Published content.

  1. Click Application launcher Application launcher > Administration Administration.

  2. Click Publication settings.

  3. To automatically publish the database content and display it in Published content Published content, enable Auto-publication.

  4. To publish only the database content and display it in Published content Published content after the model was manually published, disable Auto-publication.

You have specified the publication mode.

Backup database

You can back up the database.

  1. Click Application launcher Application launcher > Administration Administration.

  2. Click Publication settings.

  3. Click Start backup. The dialog for saving the database opens.

  4. Save the database directly or open and save it with your ZIP program. Which way you can select depends on your browser.

You have backed up the database. If required, an operator of ARIS Basic can import the backup file and make the saved state of the database available again.
